To ensure a proper fit, take 20-30 brisk steps in them, then look down to make sure your heels are not pushed off the back of the footbed. If they are, and the upper straps are too tight you need to go another size up.

The FitFlop footwear has the potential to increase muscle activity in terms of workload. As such, we recommend that you wear your new pair progressively to avoid excessive muscle soreness.”

“They are not. FitFlop has no affiliation with MBT (except perhaps that both FITFLOP and MBT occupied ‘originator’ slots as pioneers in the toning and wellness footwear category).

FitFlop footwear is biomechanist developed, and built on a patent-pending, triple-density Microwobbleboard™ midsole that was inspired by the techniques and equipment used by physical therapists in joint injury rehabilitation. Our technology originated at London South Bank University in England, and was engineered there by Dr David Cook and Darren Jamess at the Center for Human Performance.

(We don’t want to speak for MBT, but we espouse quite different takes on the ‘best way to walk’.)”

“There are copies and then there are copies; some are terrible and you can spot them at first glance, but there are others which are a ‘different kettle of fish’ all together. They may look just like our genuine article; they may have what appear to be the same swing tags, hang tags, size and style stickers and even the same ‘Microwobbleboard’ button in the sole, but what they won't have is our patent-pending MICROWOBBLEBOARD™ technology in the sole and therefore they won't have the ability to give you a workout while you walk or help to make your butt look altogether firmer.

In the short term, they may cost you nearly the same amount as the genuine article, or at best a fraction less, but in the long term, they could cost you dear. At FitFlop we continually monitor our quality and test our products. Counterfeiters don't.

Counterfeit or fake goods go and-in-hand with criminality, bad quality, credit card fraud and identity theft, so when making a purchase it's vital to bear in mind the following:
    - We do not authorise our retailers to sell on eBay. Therefore, any eBay seller with more than 1 or 2 pairs of FitFlop footwear for sale may well be selling unauthorised or counterfeit FitFlop footwear.
    - We don't sell FitFlop footwear to discount stores, market traders or clearing houses - ever.
    - We don't sell FitFlop footwear at mark down prices.
    - Fake FitFlop footwear could be dangerous. You can bet your bottom dollar the manufacturer of a fake product hasn't put their footwear through the same rigorous tests we do at FitFlop to ensure they are safe.
    - Making a purchase through an unauthorised website or retailer can put you at risk of credit card fraud and identity theft. And, you may never receive your 'paid up front for' purchase.

With all this, don't you want the real thing on your feet? Fake and counterfeit FitFlop footwear probably won't stand the test of time. Added to which you won't be able to return fakes to our lovely Customer Services Manager Natasha and get her usual exemplary level of service and generally sympathetic view. They will be taken out to the FitFlop HQ car park and 'disposed' of.

It's sometimes hard to tell the difference between genuine FitFlop footwear versus fakes and rip-offs. Click here for more information. ”
