Microwobbleboard™ technology
FitFlop footwear is built with patent-pending, biomechanically engineered Microwobbleboard™ midsoles. Originally designed to activate leg muscles more, studies show they also offer excellent shock absorption and instant relief from underfoot pressure.
FitFlop footwear has the potential to increase muscle activity duration and workload, so should be used progressively. If you: a) have any health concerns, and/or b) are pregnant, and/or c) experience any discomfort as a result of wearing them, please consult a medical practitioner before starting or continuing to wear FitFlop footwear.

ARE KIDS SIZES THE SAME AS ADULTS?
No. The widths vary from adult products, being somewhat narrower, apart from across the toes where we have maintained the adult proportions to give the children’s toes room to spread duri ng the gait cycle. The kids sizes are proportionately smaller based on advice from SATRA who recommend these adjustments for kids feet whose arches are not fully developed. In detail, the heel width is 7% less and 5% less across the 70 degree joint line.
FIT
- FITFLOP boots and clogs for kids can be worn barefoot or with properly fitting socks.
- To ensure children’s feet are not constricted and have sufficient room to grow, make sure new footwear has a finger’s width of room at the end.
- Clogs: Children’s feet grow quickly, so ensure you regularly re-adjust the straps.
- Sheepskin boots: We recommend keeping toenails clipped short to prevent damage to your boots from the inside. Note: Sheepskin is a natural product. On colour-dyed footwear, some initial colour transfer onto skin or clothing should be expected. This will diminish with wear.

FITFLOP leather boots/shoes are built on microfibre-lined footbeds that are anti-bacterial AEGIS™ treated to help prevent odours.
To enhance the leather and improve water resistance, we recommend you polish your boots/shoes with a good wax polish. If the leather gets DIRTY, simply wipe clean with a damp cloth before topping up the polish.
Specialist leather cleaners/protectors can be used from time to time. Please follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully.
If your leather boots/shoes get WET, stuff them with towels and let them dry naturally–away from direct heat or sunlight–for at least 24 hours. Once dry they will benefit from an application of a specialist neutral-coloured leather conditioner.
DO NOT PUT IN THE WASHING MACHINE/DRYER.
