They look ok, a little boring maybe… but in saying that maybe just maybe i could get away with the black ones for work?
Love the idea of trainers the trainers though :) Possibly do something a little more funky with the coloured ones?
A side view would have been good. :)

New trainer mock ups look ok but only the front view. showing! Not much to go one!

Look VERY comfy! Don’t like over decorated trainers so these would suit me fine, and still look smart enough for work but great for casual wear as well.

Where and when will they be available for purchase? I miss wearing my FitFlop footwear because it’s too cold. I need them fast!

I just love them!! Been waiting for something like this for a long time, since I still needed shoes I could wear to work during spring and summer. And these seem perfect. Like the two colors in the middle the best.

They look like something the Tweenies would wear. Reebok are doing a trainer that looks like a trainer with similar technology to FitFlop. Love the boots and mules but HATE the look of these (even without a side view). Too remedial looking.

Hi, looking sleek and simple and I like that a lot. Please add views from other angles as well.

They do look a bit like something my 60 year old mother would choose but it’s difficult to really tell without a view of the side. As a gym user (with plantar fasciitis), and the owner of every other pair of FitFlop available I can’t wait for the trainers, however I would like to see something that looks a bit more like a conventional trainer. These look a bit like bowling shoes!

Am total FitFlop fan! But agree with other comments, need side view of trainers, and yes they do look a little boring! But am keen to have a trainer that is as effective as the FitFlop.

Love the red… Profile pic please as front on they look like any old skating shoes :(

They’re plain-looking but I prefer them that way & will do based on the limited top view. No mention about the material - but coming from your company who thinks of our well-being just by wearing shoes, am sure you’ll not scrimp on the “comfort” factor. Would love to see a Velcro version & more colors of this trainer.

Awesome - loving the black (so hard to get great trainers in BLACK or RED)!!!

Please add more photos of different angles. It’s difficult to tell what they look like!

Get them out and in the stores!

Bit plain for my liking, look a bit like ten pin bowling shoes … Side view would be nice.

I love the idea.
Red, Metallic really appeal to me.
White and Black look like they need more detail? But hard to see.
Could stretch to do more ‘it-shoe’ flagship colours - think this would make them even more desirable on the fashion dimension as clearly they will appeal on practical front.
Needs to rival converse I think.

GREAT, FANTASIC, BRILL… Have been desperate for a trainer-style FitFlop to ‘come out’ I do loads of walking with my dogs “off road” (not suitable for flip-flop style in summer or “boot” styles in winter). Can’t wait to get my hands (feet?!) on a pair!

Agree with most other people about shots of other angles, especially and most importantly side on. You reply that you have no other pictures at the moment but seriously, how difficult can it be to click a camera and download it on your web? Also agree with somebody who says they look a bit like bowling shoes, so might look ok under jeans/long jogging bottoms but possibly a bit ‘old fashioned’ with leggings, shorts etc. Maybe your next pictures could show somebody modelling them in various gym like attire.
However, I have several pairs of Walkstar sandals, (sadly couldn’t get boots I wanted for love nor money in the UK ) and my Plantar fasciitis symptoms (sooooooooo painful) have improved massively, so know it is likely I will get a pair whatever they look like.

In preparing for a 3 week walking trip around Europe last spring, I had my local shoe repair add a heavy duty elastic band to my Gogh FitFlop. No foot pain, no knee pain, no back pain. I’ve been waiting for FitFlop to come out with a tie shoe for more outdoor wear. I live in Colorado and can’t wear my FitFlop on the mtn. trails. Hope to see these shoes for sale soon.

I have absolutely no doubt that are comfortable but as for the look, It’s hard to comment without a side shot.
But … from those photos they look pretty good so far, I like the 2 colors in the middle the best.

I bought these last week at the Singapore Zoo while on vacation. I have a knee injury that causes swelling anytime I am on my feet or walk for more than about an hour. I wore these ALL day.. (even though they said to ease into wearing) because they were so awesome. I could feel the difference immediately. We walked for about 7 hours straight and at the end of the night, when I would normally have an ice pack on my knee and be overdosing on Motrin… I had NO.. I repeat NO pain whatsoever… for the first time in over 2 years!!! The next day we went sighseeing again and I wore them all day, with the same results. I have been babying my knee since summer of 2007, trying to convince the doctor that I don’t need surgery for my torn ACL and torn miniscus (spelling??) So far.. they have been the answer to my prayers.. and my sanity! I LOVE these FitFlops! Now.. if you can only make a dress shoe that I can wear to work with the same effect????

Am waiting for the details of your adjustable strap range for those of us with high insteps. I was told about this by a FitFlop exhibitor this past autumn.

Would give comments if i could get a size 3 in any winter style. Small footed people are being alienated!!!

Teresa

January 19, 2010

Can’t believe I missed the opportunity to comment on a trainer! I need an in-between style for when it’s too hot for boots and too cold for sandals so a trainer sounds perfect. However, what I can tell you is size four seems almost impossible to buy. I already have four pairs of Walkstar III, and after searching for ever and ever, finally managed to get Inuk in black and Mukluk in chestnut - can’t tell you how happy that made me. Bought the Ultra Lounge in chocolate colour but after just one week, the fur at the back of the heel on one of them went completely bald! Returned them for an exchange, but yes you’ve guessed it, no size four and no likelihood of getting any now (they tell me). Make some more of all styles - quickly !!!

I love the look of these, i have been advised by my physio to wear fitflop shoes indoors. As i have had a fracture, sprain all in my right foot and they will support my feet indoors. Cant’ wait to own a pair.

Absolutely adore my FitFlops boots. I cannot take them off my feet. I know they were silly money E170 but worth every penny.

I ordered my FitFlop footwear through B&BWorks. I absolutely adore mine. I have back issues that have kept me from working for almost 10 years, so I was worried. Silly Me! I have a tight butt, stronger legs and the sandals are comfortable. I have worn them everywhere.

I felt as if I was litterally walking on air when I "found" the last pair of Electra FitFlops last August at Harrods! I had just spent several months abroad where I was not able to get any FitFlops and the agony of having to put normal ’shoes’ on my feet was excrusiating after months of wearing open toe sandals. I have bunions, flat feet, a bad back + arthritus!…so they are a pure joy to wear. Thank you so much.

Have the Gogh for winter. Love the warmth, not sure what snow & salt will do to them. My first were sandals, and I like that I can soak/wash them if I get into doggie-doo. Sadly, they’re ruining my tolerance for “dressy” shoes; wouldn’t wear these with my preaching robe. I do still like my Birks; have the Gizeh in silver and an older denim-look, which I had rebuilt last year. Like new…
