Content creators and twins Hermon & Heroda use their platform to advocate for deaf awareness and accessibility in fashion, beauty and lifestyle. Through their content, they want to encourage the younger generation to be fearless and demonstrate how life with a hearing impairment has not stopped them from going after their dreams. In this way, they hope to change people’s perceptions – and the industry at large.
“One Smart Move we’ve made is to believe in ourselves, and to support each other in taking risks, making things happen, taking action,” says Hermon. “It doesn’t matter what anybody else says and the rejections we get. We keep fighting to change people’s perceptions,” adds Heroda.
