World-class science is usually reserved for sports-performance footwear but here at FitFlop, we like to
do things differently. That’s why every sandal, shoe, sneaker and boot we develop is biomechanically
engineered to work with your body alignment and natural movement, undergoing meticulous testing
before it reaches your feet.
.
OUR IN-HOUSE BIOMECHANIST
“We engineer every shoe with the end goal of achieving maximum comfort and to optimise natural movement,” says Dr Kim Lilley, Head of Research and Development at FitFlop. Together with her team, Dr Kim ensures our shoes deliver all-day comfort – without compromise.
LAB TESTED
Our technology is tested at the Biomechanigg Sport and Health Research centre based at the University of Calgary, one of the world’s leading biomechanics research centres, also used by some of the world’s leading sports performance footwear brands. Here we study how our shoes affect muscle activity, pressure diffusion and maximise natural body alignment.
REVOLUTIONARY TECHNOLOGY
From our iconic, pressure-diffusing Microwobbleboard™ tech to our movement-propelling Neodynamic™ midsole, we create world-class comfort technology for a game-changing shoe experience.
FORM & FUNCTION
We don’t believe you should have to choose between style and comfort. We’re as obsessive about the way our shoes look as how they perform. Sleek sandals with hidden cushioning? We made it happen. Platforms that don’t weigh you down? We innovated until we got it just right.
.
Looks like a rain boot, feels like your favourite pair of trainers. Our WonderWelly boot is lightweight,
and ergonomic underfoot, with honeycomb heel cush technology, and double-layered rubber. Try a pair
and you’ll see why we say our rain boots eat other rain boots for breakfast.
